Trade Fair Annual 2017/18

The Beijing Media Art Biennale + B3 Biennale of Moving Image LAB SPACE occupied the Central Atrium of the CAFA Art Museum.

The exhibition compiled works from over 20 artists from around the World.

THE Virtual Reality (VR) STATION DESIGN REFLECTs THE DREAM-LIKE INTERFACE OF THE mixed reality EXPERIENCE AND ITS disconnection from the ANALOGUE SPACE. 

EACH WORK OCCUPIES A INDIVIDUAL VR UNIT. TOGETHER THEY FORM A LAYOUT THAT RESEMBLES A CLOUD-LIKE PATTERN. 

EACH of the VR UNIT CAN BE REUSED AND RECONFIGURED TO SUIT DIFFERENT VENUE AND AMOUNT OF WORK DISPLAYED in the touring of the VR exhibits. 

While experiencing the VR art work on the Mezzanine, the visitorsthemselves become performance artists on Stage for the spectators from all around the museum central space along the main circulation space.
